I've read the books, guides, how-to's and whitepapers on how to do this, and, I think, I have a reasonable understanding of what's involved. But I'm not a kid anymore, and I really don't have the energy to be piecing this together myself from scratch (the same reason I use presets -
). I probably COULD do it (and I've taken some steps to try) but I keep thinking that in this climate there has GOT to be a whole industry that takes that burden off you for a reasonable price.Problem is, I'm not really sure I know what to ask for, or who to ask. So here's the short list of what I would like:
1. A nice website supporting a blog and an audio podcast, maybe the occasional video, and, possibly a message board.
2. A reasonable hosting solution for the podcast content and some guidance on how best to format, upload and store episodes with the smallest possible footprint.
3. Get listed on iTunes.
4. Guidance on the best way to connect social media (Twitter/Facebook).
So obviously, I'd like to get set up and just be able to create my content, post it, and manage it without worrying about the rest.
I'm sure there has got to be more than a few KVR'ers that look at this and can do it in their sleep. While this project is not a moneymaker for me, I don't mind spending a bit to get up and running--as long as it does, indeed, get me up and running.
