Please implement microtuning support!!
Thanks for proposing a cool feature, we of course investigate can we implement it in near future and complexity of coding.
Now all our efforts are concentrated on cool and user-friendly preset browser.
Thank you for your reply!

I really hope you can do it in the future.
The complexity of coding isn't so bad.
If you look at the Anamark page there are code examples for reading .tun and .scl files (again either will be just fine, and in case of .tun it doesn't matter if it's version 1 or 2).
http://www.mark-henning.de/am_downloads_eng.php#Tuning (http://www.mark-henning.de/am_downloads_eng.php#Tuning)

So all you'll have to do is allow a scale to be loaded, and then put that scale into your internal pitch table. That's it, and we're happy as can be :)
As far as I'm concerned you don't even have to make a menu item out of this, you could even have it load "scale.tun" or something out of the preset directory if one is present an apply it to all presets.
And it doesn't have to be bug free either, some scale files deviate a bit from the norm and some synths with microtuning support won't load these but that's no problem either as long as some scales load we'll figure it out.

Could take less than a day to implement it this way :)
And you'd be the coolest synth on the block ;)

Btw, should you implement microtuning, I'd be more than happy to provide you with a set of scales in different microtonal directions so users unfamiliar with microtuning can experiment in this direction.
The most used ethnic scales from around the world, historical temperaments, various just intonation scales, and experimental scales. Which you can bundle with Spire releases.
Could be an extra selling point even for those not into microtuning yet, as many people are looking for a new sound and microtuning is a very strong way to achieve this (think truly Arab sounding trance for instance).
Just let me know and I'll create, with a few other people, a "best of" scales pack especially for Spire.

I am very intrigued but already spent too much on softsynths...
I use Spire and Zebra as my two main synths. Spire was a godsend for me, as I find Zebra has a very 'round' sound, whereas Spire is quite 'sharp'. There's not much Zebra can't do, but basically I find these two synths compliment each other perfectly.

Spire is pretty straight forward... I find it intuitive and fast to program, the raw sound is tight and fresh. Snappy envelopes, lush filters, the oscillators are quick to get sounds from, it's just WAAAY quicker than Zebra in my opinion. Zebra has more, Spire is faster and more inviting... (in my opinion)
That was helpful, thanks!
The interface is definitely very inviting.
I still have my Microwave XT, so not sure if I haven't "sharp" reasonably well covered ;)

Xphraze is Kilimanjaro,

If I load a preset from the vst gui drop down (it has the down arrow and preset name then the "+" button then the "param" button - don't know what you call it) it takes slightly longer than when you load the preset from the menu (load preset (.spf)).

The sound quality is back!! :D

Not sure what they did but 1.0.4 is way less harsh than 1.0.2. Awesome! Thanks guys! :)

Cheers!

Actually you have to left click on the link to get a new window and then you should get a download page.
