Not sure if this is new info or not but according to a cached GC product page SONAR X3 is coming out on October 3rd. Also, there's no 'by Roland' in the Cakewalk logos on the box which is very odd. Something must be up ...

News to me! The cached page was real (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=us). There's one for the Studio version as well (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=us).
Nicely done, Seth!

In my experience these leaks and pulls have always been real, legit screw-ups by the dealers. If I had to put money on it I would put it down on October 3rd.

Well, I said last time that I'd not be interested. I changed my mind. I hope I don't change my mind this time. Otherwise, it will be next september and it will start all over again.....I need to stop the madness

But it does have 'wide-ranging talents'.

I must be the only satisfied X2 customer around. I've been using Cakewalk/Sonar as a DAW since 1998 and other than Cakewalk Professional 6 (which would record for about 35 seconds before crashing), I've liked each subsequent upgrade. It's not without it's flaws though, no doubt.
All that said, I'll probably skip this update as I just upgraded to X2 in February.

Anyone knows if the Matrix View is getting a boost? (towards the direction of Live's Session View)
