If both Mac and Pc versions are included, and I wait for the Mac version, will I get lifetime updates for my PC version?DavenH wrote:Correct. The introductory offer is free updates for the lifetime of Cycle, valid until Nov 1. I may push that date back due to the checkout issue.BBFG# wrote: I get that too. Just how much is it?
(edit: reading through the comments I assume the price is $149.00 with no intro price being made available).
Major updates will otherwise be approx 25-30% of full value. There are a lot of big improvements planned.
Anyway, email me if you want to buy a license; I'll do the transaction manually.
It's both.BBFG# wrote:Still, no real clue as to it being 32b or 64b?

Hey Dave. It's likely a bad audio device setup. Hit Edit->Audio Settings. A dialog window with the different audio devices is shown. Select one from the dropdown menu if there's none selected. Hit the "Test" button to see if the device is active and can play, it should play a sine wave. Let me know if that works.dave dove wrote:could anybody help me get a sound out of this instrument please...

Also have you used a recent installer? Since last week it should report if there are any problems moving the files, anything like that show up? Also if there are no presets, the blank preset won't make sound.

That's awfully cheeky. I'll think about that.audientronic wrote:

Hi, I have the same problem. Latest installer with no error messages. Audio set up correctly with the test sine working fine.DavenH wrote:Hey Dave. It's likely a bad audio device setup. Okay, can you try this: download the presets here, extract to wherever, preferably C:/Users/you/My Documents/Amaranth Audio/Cycle/presetsauricle wrote:Hi, I have the same problem. Latest installer with no error messages. Audio set up correctly with the test sine working fine.

Double click one of them, test a few notes, any sound?
Are you using Win 8 as well? If so I'll have somewhere to start.

Thanks. I'll try tomorrow and get back to you. I'm on Windows 7 64bit though.DavenH wrote:Okay, can you try this: download the presets here, extract to wherever, preferably C:/Users/you/My Documents/Amaranth Audio/Cycle/presetsauricle wrote:Hi, I have the same problem. i have downloaded and placed presets in:
E:\My Documents\Amaranth Audio\Cycle\presets
and then i tried:
C:\Users\****\Documents\etc
when setting the directory the text in the box says 'could not update directory'
if i direct cycle to the preset folder using file open
i can get to the preset folder but it shows empty
despite windows explorer saying there's a whole load of .rdn files in there

Might be a Windows UAC thing. Do you load your DAW (and therefore also your plugins) with administrative priviledges in Windows?dave dove wrote:i have downloaded and placed presets in:

Crap, I uploaded the wrong zip. Sorry! I've fixed it. The files should be .cyc, file associated with Cycle.dave dove wrote:i have downloaded and placed presets in:

I'm really curious about this one but the Demo fails to install for me.
Reaper doesn't find the plugin and starting the standalone results in a "Program failed to initialize properly 0x0000034" or something similar.
I'm on XP32 running Reaper.

There seem to be some missing dependencies on Vista SP1 and XP. I haven't pinpointed them yet, but I'm working on it.
