No way, I will either skip it or wait for an update that add these functions

Yeah. I have to ask now. I see there are still music apps released with neither, some of them seem ambitious enough but at best they have only iTunes transfer, which requires a PC. Thus I wonder if it is only me (and the iOS artist "Smite Matter") who is really picky about this?
So give the poll a shot to give me an impression of how important it is to you and leave a comment too if you like.

Cheers

Yes.
Almost every synth and DAW I have were bought prior to the release of Audiobus. Most were a buck or two at the time too. (evil laugh)

Yeah.
None of those things are requirements to use an app as a musical instrument.

So were mine. But when I realized the importance of pasteboard transfer for app collap, I stopped buying apps with no pasteboard transfer. Am I to understand that whether it has pasteboard transfer doesn't matter that much to you either?

Post

Neither, as it really depends on the purpose of the app. It wouldn't be a requirement for performance-oriented apps.

Post

I wouldn't care either way really. Sure it would be handy, but overall I think the usefulness and quality of the app itself must be the prime consideration. Anything else is a bonus.

Post

Well, I bought iMPC and xoxbox, both sound great and can be used with my DAW, so I guess it depends on the app.

Most apps fell under the "it's too good not to get" logic back then, but I do admit that I sensed these were serious developers who wanted their apps to have all the latest bells and whistles and would eventually add any feature that was deemed necessary or even popular.

They are helpful, but I am not tied to any one process.
A lot of what I do is audio recording from external sources, so a metronome is usually all I need then.

Otherwise Audiobus for all the ITB. Rarely using copy/pasteboards except when using Glitchbreaks.
