You also might want to explain how bids work when there are multiples of the same item. That caused a lot of confusion before, as well.Luftrum wrote: Please, only bid in USD $ and not EUR. I have converted a few this time.

So whats this year's hidden blacklist?
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

That should be a simple lowest price first ?! Shouldn't it?winds350 wrote:when there are multiples of the same item
Say, there are three pieces of the same item :
#1 : $10
#2 : $15
#3 : $12
If I now bid $13 for the item, than the lowest price - $10 - should get dropped and replaced by mine.
#1 : $13
#2 : $15
#3 : #12

Last year there was an issue with the bidding in Euros: Simon advertised his products in Euro back then also, but the bidding should be in US dollars ("... not potatoes..."carlbe wrote:Simon Stockhausen's Reaktor Bundle == 30€
thank you

It would be in everyone's interest if Luftrum made this clear in the opening post (if he hasn't already).

But this time I only mentioned the regular prices in Euro and did not set any minimum bids in Euro which added to the confusion last year, and potatoes are also not accepted this year!Breeze wrote:Last year there was an issue with the bidding in Euros: Simon advertised his products in Euro back then also, but the bidding should be in US dollars ("... not potatoes..."carlbe wrote:Simon Stockhausen's Reaktor Bundle == 30€

Exactly this. The lowest bid will always be replaced by a higher bid. So, you cannot 'target' an product to bid on if there is another of the same product at a lower value... if that makes any sense.paulbreeze wrote:

@Luftrum: how will you handle the Euro offers? I noticed that you posted carlbe's 30 Euros as $30. I'm not sure he'd agree... There's a few other offers in Euros now as well. Note that I have no interest in this item; I just think there should be a policy to handle this (Luftrum does the conversion, or the poster notified, or any non-USD bid is automatically disqualified, or posted as USD, or...)
