Cakewalk broke your heart and now you've moved on. It happens and, fortunately, there are other DAWs in the sea. So, why don't you just move on then, rather than continuously telling us about how you've moved on? Geez, you guys must drive your ex's batty. :P
It's because sonar is like a pretty girl in a red skirt, but at night when she undress you discover she has a dick.
But it's too late...

I see the pattern and there will be bad news. All the funds they get from Gibson won't help them get back on their feet.

As a relatively new user to Sonar X2 and being unfamiliar with earlier collaborations regarding Gibson or Tascam can you explain to me why you feel this new venture will not benefit Cakewalks' products?

Could you maybe provide some vaguely recent clues? Say within the last half-decade?

Is there anything they have done in the last half-decade that would help restore confidence in their ability to sustain interest in a software product of Sonar's standing?

was it gibson who were recently, in conjunction with "experience hendrix llc", going to release a signature guitar of a type he had never seen in his lifetime, and of a brand he barely ever played? maybe some questionable integrity there, but hey it's all business :)
