i can download it... sounds like a buzzy piano-ish synth... i think spire's strengths are it's true synth sounds, no need to create piano emulations (or guitars, saxes, etc...).
spire is an AWESOME synth..!

YES, I would add :Trancestorm wrote:1. new better preset browser!!!

4. UNLEARN MIDI CC# (since this is not possible via the GUI at this time, quite an important yet missing functionality).
Hope to see all the above in future updates of SPIRE .
Thanks,

Hi all, I've come across a problem with automating LFO time (synced). The scaling of the automation is way off. Basically the maximum value of the knob is reached within a very small range of the automation curve.
I've experienced this using both Reaper and Fl Studio latest versions. Anyone else getting this?

The sound preview won't work. You maybe have to write http instead of https? Just a guess.jk-cream2 wrote:Some of my latest presets I worked on for spire.

I just wanted to write the same: I would be happy if we could set the same amountSatch1 wrote:Hi all, I've come across a problem with automating LFO time (synced). on the matrix like what we use on the LFO/ or any synth module.
It's not just LFO time other things too. Very difficult to program aftertouch
to vibrato or filter cutoff also. Some of them is using the whole range,
others reaching the maximum from 0-20.
Like if i want to make some other modulation zeroed (to cancel with another
modulation) i can't find it properly. It would be great to write the same negative amount to get to the zero.
Would be great to fix this.
I would also like on LFO module to stay the time/rate when switching Sync on or off.
How could we guess what number is 1/4 time from 0-1000? I don't want to use calculator for that.
But my absolut favorit on Spire LFO module: Symmetry.
It's just so musically useful and easy!

Hi hollo, the amount sliders in the mod matrix either add or subtract from what the target parameter is set to in the synth. This makes sense to me, although, I think that because all the synths parameters are scaled from 0 to 1000, the mod matrix amounts should be scaled from -1000 fully left, through 0 in the centre, to 1000 fully right. This would mean that no matter where the target parameter was set, one could easily dial in the exact mod amount required whether positive or negative. EDIT: Although, like you said hollo, it would be nice if some of the parameters scalings were mirrored in the mod matrix, e.g. pitch, and LFO sync rate (were it to be added).
While we're on the subject of modulation, I would love it if we could use the LFO's in either bipolar or unipolar mode, separately for every parameter it modulates, not just globally. What do you reckon devs?
Also, being able to modulate the LFO rate when synced.
Anyway, back to my previous post, I wasn't referring to the modulation, I was talking about automation from the host DAW. It's all messed up when automating LFO time (synced). Can anyone confirm this please?
Cheers!

MIDI MAPPING Difficulty
I'm interested in mapping various "drop boxes" (such as oscillator selection, filter type selection) to midi controller's buttons/encoders.
I'm experiencing difficulties in doing that (logic pro x)
Does anyone have successful experience?
Thaks for sharing it

Automation of some parameters like dropboxes and buttons is not supported. Possible will be added in future releases.piastro wrote:MIDI MAPPING Difficulty

oooh ooh bad news.
on Cubase 7, mac 10.7.5.
if I midi learn a parameter (in this case I did osc4 volume on the initial patch)... if I then hit midi learn again cubase crashes.
If I then restart cubase and move the cc knob that I midi learnt to osc4 volume.
Crashville again.
rsp
I emailed the crashlog.
hopefully that can help
edit: btw I was using cc28 from an Emu Xboard 49

actually maybe its an underlying bug.....I am not sure the default patch does even use osc4. Reinstalling 1.04 on the mac, doing the same midi cc mapping, and sending that midi cc to spire eventually causes cubase 7 to crash with spire 1.0.4
Same thing also crashes Maschine doing the same thing...
