Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a vein of gold for melodic, upbeat electronic music. (edm?idm?) I was listening to all my old Monotonik stuff: Greenwhich Mean Time Machine by Superscience, Bubbleblower by Sense, etc.
Got a little misty thinking about deaf dunderkwac...,
So where does the whimsical, pretty stuff hang out these days?

Kuedo - Severant. Came out on Planet Mu in 2011. Has big epic synthy melodies derived in equal parts from Vangelis and early Autechre backed with skittering streetwise 808 beats half-inched from juke and trap. It's fairly ace.

As in I can't seem to locate the music I want (Actual sound is fine). My searches end up with the latest club hits or slow dramatic stuff.ghettosynth wrote:Soma FM, too much noise?ouroboros wrote:tried, thanks. too much noise.

More variety at Digitally Imported. I'll keep looking until you find something.
All 3 of what you listed came up on Last.fm. Sorry that didn't work for you.

Kuedo's Severant got me into electronic music production. Glad he's getting some attention here!DWB2 wrote:Kuedo - Severant. Came out on Planet Mu in 2011. I also recommend Com Truise and Tycho.
