a bunch of times ? how's about two temporary bans, each time for calling a guy who was trolling a 'troll'. Evidently newcomers should know better, I suppose, than to call old timers such things as they are beloved by at least one or two of the many mods. Still I took my bans without complaint. Anyway you're the guy with ~36,000 posts clocked up at an average rate of ~13 posts every single day so I don't know why you need to ask rhetorical questions about my bans when you obviously know the answer. But since we're asking the rhetoricals - when do you make music ? are you lonely ?

Actually that was the first video I found using windows

Give me a few minutes and I will show you how it is done on Linux (I think it is almost equal if not equal, I never used it on windows, nor I have it instaled).

I just don't think someone who goes around calling people names or questioning their motives really qualifies you to be making such grand generalizations, but it's just me.

that's where you're wrong, I don't 'go around' calling people names - that's one of those generalizations you're talking about. I called a troll a 'troll', who incidentally has been called that many many many MANY times by other 'old timers' before & after my temp bans. My only crime in also doing so was being a 'newcomer' at the time, with no mod buddies of my own.

If that renders my opinions obsolete in your view, I can live with that.

So to reiterate - Delusional Entitlement is exactly what's on display here, and yes, it is quite normal for the posters in question. Today it's Bitwig, yesterday it was Imposcar 2, tomorrow it will be whoever. Life goes on. Routers keep blinking. Music doesn't get made. Meow.

And you took that as... what? A promise? No one is even a paying customer yet. The only rationale I can come up with to explain the mean spirited animosity that keeps cropping up in various Bitwig forum threads around the web is... impatient people with an inflated sense of entitlement who've been holding off buying Ableton Live 9 in the hope that Bitwig will be the new DAW of their dreams. They've crossed over into taking it personally, which totally bewilders me. I get folks wanting to take the piss out of any vulnerable web target they can find, but pretty often "jokes" are just euphemisms for veiled insults. I will say this though, Bitwig threads are at least a lot more civilized than YouTube comments. It's all relative.
