Well, they obviously chose to post only via facebook. There's really nothing at all wrong with that.

And with Ableton suddenly pushing so hard to match Bitwig's announced features, not saying much anymore is probably a prudent approach.

Even if I'm, like, just so incredibly insulted by that. In fact, I've stopped making music altogether just to stick it to them.

Bitwig has been the best thing for Ableton sind Robert Henke.

I mean seriously. They were so totally out of touch as little as a year ago and now it's like suddenly they actually give a damn. Great stuff.

I don't know if this was said earlier in this thread, but I think this not-from-this-earth-delay will prevent many users from going with Bitwig all the way. I mean, I would not believe that they EVER would publish an update/bugfix.

But on the other hand, if their product is colorful and cheap, what the heck.

Oh, there is that sailing thing, with a team funded by Larry O. Ego that claims to have won. But, winning by using Larry's billions is like building a secure cat shelter using a grant from the NSA. Can be done, but it's not something to feel good about.
