Okay, my second guess was on that list! (Tassman 4). So since that's not it, I have to say Tyrell is good guess too. I would add ACE along with it. The sound demo has a 'rounder' tone to me that I find lacking in many synths, and not by a 'heavier' bottom end to compensate. The hint I would ask for is, 'does it use pure synthesis and no sampled import wavetable in the set?'

Noooo, I shouldn't win! I was just answering your final hint - I thought the contest was over cos at least one other person had already guessed correctly (anyway I'd already made my guess earlier which was wrong)
