Watching IOS update with Mitch G. of Sweetwater

the second half is dedicated to Splashtop which apparently duplicates your computer monitor's screen and gives you touch control.

Left me wondering about latency and other issues however.

I used an app called JumiMouse for that purpose. Not bad for certain situations.

I tried and ditched after 10 minutes. It's very nice on paper but with at least an iPad2, slow responsiveness and not fast enough rendering frustrated me. Also, the iPad screen is still very SMALL for the VST interface. I'll reconsider when iPad Maxi is available..

Thanks for the response. I was afraid that might be the case. Let's buy Lemur for iPad now that it is $12 off, eh?

yes, with Lemur (or other controller app) you have multi-touch. Another app to mention is V-Control where you can bring the plugin GUI to the iPad (single-touch only). Very good for plugins that you haven't mapped with Lemur, or for plugins with wires like the Arturia Modular V.
