Mods...if this is in the wrong place, please put it where appropriate! Hello all...Just found this site and I'm in awe!
I mostly play acoustic guitar(fingersstyle) and am being lead to the amazing possibilities of computer recording, plugins, virtual instruments, ect. At the present my only keyboard is a Korg SV-1 that plays a lot like the Fender Rhodes that I had in the 70s.
I have an Apple laptop that I plan to experiment with, and hope that this is a journey that lasts!
Anyway...if I don't get any more "Spammie" messages, from this site then I will be glad to meet you all!

This is the right place and a very warm welcome

One of the best things I have ever done is join KVR.You will find some top people here,it's a great place.

The few minutes that I have "lurked" here are mind blowing!

You only get email notifications for all replies to your posts, so you know immediately when someone replied to your post! (if you check the option)

And you get ONE (!) KVR newsletter every few weeks. I haven't got any other email from KVR, so it's absolutely spam-free!

Well you already got Garageband already , which has quite a lot of goodies . Welcome ... welcome to the world of spending money on software plugins and hosts and samples etc etc etc . Tapeop forum is great for learning recording techniques , mic s , mixing , diy gear , etc etc . Tapeop forums and Kvraudio are probably my 2 favorite sites , stay away from gearsleezez .

Thanks Tricky the Froot Loops! The 1st time I tried to post here I got a huge Red Warning that the KVR server thought I was spamming...Heck...I can barely even spell it! Ha! We well...

The silly thing about GarageBand is that I bought an Eleven rack several months ago, (bundled with Pro Tools 10), and have not recorded a single thing yet...And now they are up to PT 11... Sigh!...Oh well...Money is just paper with dead presidents on it...wink
