Audio triggering is indeed something we should look out for! Good for Kickstart and VolumeShaper.

Volume shaper is more versatile but I like how easy it is to click different shapes on this. Volume shaper also has the wave display which is always on my master.

Recreate the shapes from Kickstart in Volumeshaper's 10 waves and in Reaper save that as the default preset.
Now whenever you open Volumeshaper in Reaper you can switch the shapes just as easy

Volume Shaper is the small brother of Kickstart, and MIDI Shaper is the big sister! With MIDI Shaper you can modulate everything...

If you want to modulate everything with MIDI CC, yes...

If you only want to modulate the volume, Volume Shaper 3 is enough...

With MIDI shaper you can modulate everything, pitch, volume, cutoff, phaser, etc. - every control of most synths (and of effects, too!) can be assigned to a MIDI CC and then you can draw your LFO curve in MIDI Shaper for this MIDI CC.

As some one mentioned, its not a sidechain plugin as a process but the end result. And its quite useful plugin, because it is really easy to use. Although there are alternatives but this one is quite cheap and easy looking on the eyes.

Although for those who dont want spend money and have FL Studio, you can simulate sidechain effect with FL Love Philter or if you have with Gross Beat.

Personaly after trying demo i prever myself this plugin. Just easier on the eyes

Will there be a further update on Kickstart where we will be able to create free curves? (like in Volume shaper)

Nicky Romero + Cableguys give us Kickstart plug-in
