Hey guys,

I keep getting sent really cool demos of experimental stuff which is wicked but doesn't fit my main label Kindred Sounds (http://www.beatport.com/label/kindred-sounds/1478)

So I am setting up a sub-label for anything experimental, broken, soundscapes etc for release on Beatport, Itunes etc.

If you have suitable material, hit me up - kriece (at) kindredsounds (dot) com with a Soundcloud link and I will get back to you if it fits the vibe. My preference is for quality producers with a decent catalogue of material as I would prefer plenty of releases from a few producers rather than a few releases from a heap of producers.

Note that I have no idea as to the commercial potential of this kind of thing - I am doing it primarily to get quality experimental sounds out there - so even if released, I have no idea whether it will sell...

What kind of support/promotion do you provide to your artists to drive sales?

Sorry I haven't been on here in a bit.

I run my labels a little differently than most others - I made the early decision not to add to all the promo spam out there and build an audience organically along with using big name remixers such as Ulrich Schnauss, Charlie May, Robert Babicz, Tiger Stripes, Martin Eyerer, The Timewriter, Style of Eye, Eelke Kleijn, Carlo Lio & others.
