Looks pretty

here is a (german) preview http://www.amazona.de/preview-native-in ... ontroller/

But they say there is no integrated audio interface :?:

Have Fun!

Can it run standalone?

Post

If this beast runs on standalone, I'm ditching my MPC immediately! Otherwise it looks just about perfect. Pretty please... Even if they'd only offer "limited functionality" without the computer, I'd switch.

BTW if Google's translation is correct, there seems to be multiprocessor support in the 2.0 software.

It supports multicore processors , correct. But no Audiointerface , it would be nice if you are on a mobile tour. The MPC Renaissance has more Audio implementation.

So without an audiointerface the new maschine studio is way too expensive.

very exited for the new software :)
not too pleased about having to pay for an upgrade but hey-ho.. multicore and sidechaining at last!

Looks good....

mulitcore support? Will it float with what I have???

Post

Still no Kore style preset morphing?

Post

All this info. is out, but not from Native Instruments ? Strange !

Why have they not announced it yet on their website ?

I'm guessing they will do so any day now.

Wow. Nice update, been waiting for this 2.0 update, the controller looks sick...
I really hope it has a audio interface... Come on NI update your site, with the official update :hihi:

...the sweetwater ad is mentioning a built-in audio interface. and I think that might be accurate - after all NI develops audio interfaces. otherwise you're right - it wouldn't justify the price...

big image - back

No interface, at least when you look at the connections on the back.

black/white model

But the screens are stunning - and I guess is what is keeping the cost price high

...yup, saw that after I posted. but these screens might be interesting - especially for a product which has been advertised to free you from the need to look at your screen :D. the trend in hardware and software development in the recent years is a bit funny considering what a huge impact it had when you were connecting your emu, mpc, synth, sampler, whatever to a computer and a sequencer and being able to use a screen and a mouse...

^ Looks pretty. Not $1000 pretty. I also think the MPC Renaissance is wayy overpriced.
