Peace,

yes they said that there will be improvement in performance.

so far first hour with bitwig is very nice, can't wait to go home to try it out more!
I had to register to say this would be awesome. It'd be great if we could get a clear shot of whatever that window on the right side is. I've never seen it before.

Also I would not be suprised if Bitwig's polysynth is just a more cpu intensive plug than Analog. What I've heard of the polysynth souded a lot nicer than analog to me. Analog is the epitome of cold, grating digital synthesis to my ears. The top end is so harsh that it actually sounds similar to the pops you get from cutting audio at a nonzero point at times.

It IS in beta testing and I assume at some point will be released. I add to these jokes as much as anyone, but not because it's vaporware.
Yep, can also confirm this 8) plus I have seen a Bitwig hoodie in person. :hihi:

Of course it's for real. They've been to like... 3 (?) ... trade shows with it already so that would be some major magic trick fooling people at a trade show by running a video pretending to be software running. :hihi:

Are there really people who think Bitwig Studio is not real software? Seriously?

Read this thread (and the others about Bitwig) if you really want the list :hihi:

I'm sorry, and I admit I may very well be wrong about this, but I just can't believe the Bits are willing to allow screenshots and discussion of this beta when they are so tight lipped about it. Nothing from them in months and then they are "OK" with posts here?

This sounds more like a trick than a treat. Like the earlier "Check your emails....the beta is out!!"

No disrespect to mcnys but come on, really?

I do believe BWS is real and will be released when it's ready.....I don't believe it's ready.

Of course Bitwig is real

But this thread is getting on my nerves! Every time it's bumped up I get here only to find philosophical questions and dancing cats. Waiting with great anticipation! I told myself not to buy Live 9 before Bitwig - but I fell for it during Abletons latest sale :hihi:

If you want the Real Bitwig thread then you have to visit the Real Bitwig thread. This one and the others are just philosophical questions, answers and cat pics :hihi:

Congrats on the purchase. Make some music while waiting on the Utopic DAW.

It's coming. Soon! :hihi:

Actually they are ;-) The current beta milestones are not under NDAs anymore and mcnys was just the first to do it, so give him a hug!
