Oh shit it's THE DOM?

If you're still reading this, there are few things I'd like to ask.
First, are you guys going to have collapsible mixer strips for grouped devices like Libe?
Do you have any idea when your modular system is going to be available? Like version 2 or you don't know at all?
Have you checked out Reper's actions list? There is a lot of power in that.
Have you checked out Reper's swipe ability? In Reper you can click on a button on one track, and hold down the mouse button and drag over the buttons on other tracks to activate the same button. This makes it really easy to mute or rec arm multiple tracks that aren't grouped. This could be of a lot of benefit in the clip launcher view. Sometimes when I'm using the session view in Libe I want to activate a lot of clips at the same time but they might not be in a scene or there might be other clips in that scene that I don't want activated, this would make it a lot easier to hit all of them in time with the mouse for me
Can the clip launcher in the arrange be sized down at all? It seems it will take up a huge amount of screen real estate if you have a lot of clips, but you could make it similar to the mixer view clip size, only vertical.
Do you have a ping pong delay? You GOTTA have a ping pong delay.
I've heard some rumors that you guys expect to get Push working for Bitwig. Would this include the full feature set with adding adding tracks through the browser and everything, or would there be some limits?
Just so you know, after seeing all your great ideas so far I am already dead set on getting Bitwig unless you seriously mess something up which I don't think is likely.
Sorry for misspellings, I had to change it to get past the spam filter.

Hmmmmm.....since I and one other are the only that have exhibited "cheers" to this point, I have to assume you mean I have changed my view.
To the contrary. While I may have joined in the revelry of poking fun for the length of time to deliver, to some degree, I have always been intrigued by the prospects of working in a DAW that has so much promise and have "cheered" them on in ways I could.
So, no change of heart here but certainly a higher level of anticipation and excitement.
Cheers!

You do realize it HAS to be done with cats, right?dom@bitwig wrote:Actually they aredsan@mail.com wrote:I'm sorry, and I admit I may very well be wrong about this, but I just can't believe the Bits are willing to allow screenshots and discussion of this beta when they are so tight lipped about it. Nothing from them in months and then they are "OK" with posts here? The current beta milestones are not under NDAs anymore and mcnys was just the first to do it, so give him a hug!

On another note... Bring on the BW!!! (and thanks for posting Dom... good to see you here, especially since I long ago stopped posting at the Ableton boards and I'm guessing you too).

Since Dom said it's okay to talk about it:
That window on the right is the new browser and it's settings.
Quite handy actually to have access to those paths directly in that window, so you don't need to go to preferences for that.
As you can see you can ADD paths, so no problems with a single VST location...
And yes, you can directly browse a location WITHOUT first indexing it (although only after indexing you can search for specific files...).
Cheers,
Tom

I know there were some posting that they would never buy BW at this point, but who were they kidding anyways???
I've been having my fun with cat lolz, but I'm just as excited as anyone else (and have been for that matter).
