Not that I use loops that much, but I know people who use almost loops only. If you've got 3 or 4 loops going (or more!) each one might well have a fair amount of low end from the kicks, even if they've been filtered - and not everybody chops up loops to individual hits. If you filter too much, you lose the flavour of that particular loop. And if you've got that many loops going on, then you almost by definition need to pan them around a little to give a bit of room in the mix. So it's very likely you'd have lower mids from kicks flying around all over your speakers -not always what you'd want. Why would they in the first place. Im asking cos im curious, not to be funny.
Hadn't thought of that! Indispensible, in that case!rune_lh wrote:But true, it is in fact backwards. But hey, it's also often after I do the recording that I know what to do to make it good..so in that sense, it might be my way of working![]()

Thanks. It's Photoshop all the way.jzero wrote:Looks great. What software did you use to make the GUI?
too bad someone else called his synth monomachine already - this would have been appropriate.rune_lh wrote:Oh, and by all means...if you have a better name for it, please don't hold it back. I'm not exactly pleased with the current name.
