As suggested on the title, i'm currently reluctant to buy (upgrade to) Logic X, because of these outdated versions of some plugins (PPG v.3/Max Classter plugin, though they are in beta testing phase yet /admiral quality/AAS modeling collection)

mmm, this is a good suggestion and we have taken your comment in consideration.
Unfortunately, all development have been stopped on BRASS since v2.0.5, and there is not any update planned in the future.
Sad but true, Brass will probably stay in 32bit Mode.
