Hello,
I want to make some house stabs and I know that a rhodes piano can be a good starting point.
So, I''m looking for a rhodes piano vsti, that's 64-bit windows, no c/r or dongle protection. I don't have kontakt, so I can't use those libraries.
Anyone an idea?
Thanks!

NI has a Mark I which can be used with the Kontakt player. It is quite good.
Though for house music you are not so interested in realism I guess, but more in sound shaping, so AAS may definitley be the better shot for you.

Mr. Ray from GSI - Free(donationware) http://www.kvraudio.com/product/mrray_by_gsi/details
It's one of their legacy plugins - you might find the other related electric pianos useful too:

EDIT: Whoops! sorry just noticed you specify 64 bit - perhaps others will find these useful

AAS Lounge Lizard is the most versatile - I used to be a Rhodes tech and it's my favorite! It can do any Rhodes or Wurlitzer sound you can think of.

Hi manducator,I really love a nice Rhodes piano and use it in my music a lot. This is my favourite free 64 bit Rhodes VSTi:
4Front R-Piano -

Though I would rather use a Rhodes setting on a decent stage piano

Soniccouture's EP73 Deconstructed. It's Powered by Kontakt, which means it works with the free Kontakt player.
http://www.soniccouture.com/en/products ... nstructed/
A bit pricey at $129, but there's likely to be a Christmas sale very soon (
)
Soniccouture also do a Wurlitzer, Broken Wurli, which you may like to check out as well.
Also, there's Neo-Soul Keys from Gospel Musicians (which also is powered by Kontakt) which has a Rhodes Mark 1 Stage, Rhodes Mark 1 Suitcase and a Wurlitzer (or if you're prepared to go the UVI iLok route, for the same price you get a couple of extra 1980s sounding electric pianos as well - Yamaha EX5 and Dyno)
