yes turn on/off auto update is a good idea.
Many of us have suggested this idea to no response.

I agree however.. a Reveal Sound forum would be useful.. then we can post different topics about Spire and not have them in one giant furball such as this current thread :hihi:

Strange - in reaper I am playing the spire synth on a patch and I can hear I think what is antialiase sound - a high frequency not related to the sound - but when I render the sound, I can't really hear it.

Also, may we please have GUI scaling? 50% 75% 125% 150% 200%

Or even just a 200% size scale up for now? That would future proof the GUI a bit more (with display resolutions ever increasing)..

Tried the demo and loved the sound. Unfortunately it's way too CPU intensive to use at this point. Hopefully this gets sorted out and I'll buy it, in the meantime it's wait and see for me.

i dont think its to hard to get a dedicated dev forum here at kvraudio.
its needs to be done, because we are at 106 pages now and i guess a lot of things getting lost like the changelog for example or free presets posted, clips of presets or the trailers, its all totally a chaos.

really hope they investigate there.

gui scaling is a good idea for the future!

Reaper handles it perfectly with its anticipative processing ability (which balance s the CPU load perfectly even across all the cpu cores), so if u want to play with it just use Reaper

For some reason I cant get this to work on my system about 6 months ago, did they ever update it to make it more stable?

6 months ago this product would have been in mid-beta stages. It's seen heaps of updates since I started using it only a few months ago and is now at release version. You should simply try it again and see how you go.

If you have trouble, why not email the Reveal Sound guys? They've been nothing but helpful with me :)

Spire should support different quality modes like Diva because Live
Symptom High CPU load on one core only when using multi-core machines.

Reason: Live cannot use multiple CPU cores to process a single track or signal path. Additional Information A single track that has multiple plug-ins can only be processed by one CPU core. Sending audio signals from one core to another would cause unwanted delay - the result would be a dropout or another artifact. This means that a set with only one track can cause a quite high CPU load if the track contains CPU-hungry plug-ins.

doesn't have track based multicore support :? , so as u mentioned it: currently one Spire instance can kill it (as I've seen the problem is same using FL Studio / Studio One / Sonar too, Reaper handles it well, know nothing about the others)
