Strange - I also had that problem (also on Mac) but he fixed it and I haven't had the problem since. He PM'd me for my IP address, and after I gave it to him he fixed it and that was it. Maybe it's excluding based on location.

You should get confirmation emails from both PayPal and his site if it went through. Check your security settings. Certain aspects can send you into a loop never allowing anything to be completed.
