On the Dubbhism blog there's a new series about "Music and Numerology" covering subjects like the 432 hz controversy, fractal music, algorithmic composition, Pythagoras etc. etc.

http://www.dubbhism.com/search/label/mu ... numerology

stay tuned for Fibonacci numbers, Cymatics, Octave theories, entrainment etc. etc.
It's DUB Jim, but not as we know it

Funny what all you can experience via the Internet. H.

Great little pieces. Worth reading if only for the exercises!

:uhuhuh: only euclidean sequencers will do.

You are aware that numerology is superstition not mathematics. The fractal music, algorithmic composition, Pythagorus, et al are mathematics not numerology.

I think you didn't read the entries...

i'm pretty sure that denial of the relevancy of semantics associated with integers qualifies as superstition.

to the rest of the world, eg. "two" will probably continue to remain symbolic regardless of the protests of a referential subordinate attempting to reduce respect for cultures outside of their own.
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Mr Entertainment is a bit obscure.
1. What semantics are specifically associated with integers?
2. "Two" is a symbol, representing 1+1. So what is the problem and who is a referential subordinate and where does respect of other cultures come in?
3. What's the age of the captain?

In music there are boatloads of semantics associated with integers, thanks to the harmonic series. And the Top Ten- there's never been a tune that reached Pi on the charts.
