Was it developed on the 13" laptop?! There is no need for it to be so small ... grr.

Peace,
Andy.
Agreed, it is way too small.

People have been complaining about Sytrus being small. But I think VA-2 is worse.

I sold mine and still got the email giving me the offer.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on this update, mostly because of the GUI.....and because I have too many synths anyway.

For the folks complaining about the gui size. I'm using a 13 inch macbook. The gui is a great size on that :D

Well that is doubly annoying! :D

A bit disappointed they made the GUI smaller than V1 - bucking the trend of higher dpi displays.

I in fact have two serials for VA1 Session, one that I bought a long time ago, and not using anymore as I upgraded to VA1 full, and one unused that I got with a Korg controller.

Would it be wrong of me to sell them secondhand for lets say 20 bucks a pop?

I own a couple of other AAS products and got an email offer to pick this up for $89, not too shabby.

The demo on YT sounds lovely... :)

So, I'll check out a demo as I'd be interested to hear how it sounds in the bass low end.
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Playing with the demo, I find the performance window quite handy - can get some significant sound variations without diving too deep. Unison mode is very nice, FX have fewer types but more knobs. Brass and leads are particularly good.

Their sales page says the sound packs are compatible so they'll have to port them over. We'll see if the 3rd party designers do as well. I have quite a few from Xenos and Aiyn Zahev, as well as factory packs.

Tabs. Scrolldown menus. Sytrus #2 in size. Higher CPU than v.1. 200 bucks for new users, free for some old ones.

Oh, and did I say: Tabs. And pages.

:uhuhuh:

GUI is too small? You need double glass eyes! :hihi:

Agree it is a tiny winy bit too small. Usable nonetheless and nice sounding. For that upgrade price its a steal!

A possible vibrato bug:-

If you have a long release on a note. Set the vibrato to a reasonable level. The vibrato only applies as long as the note is held down. As soon as you release the note. The vibrato stops.
The same behaviour is true if you use the mod wheel for vibrato.

comparing to Arc5 the GUI is maaaaaassive :)
