Saying that, selecting my MIDI device in preferences did not offer any additional options like Live does so perhaps this area still needs some work.

Peace,
Andy.
It would be surprising if everything one might want was in there in v1... or as you say, it may still need work... That area is of interest, so if you do find something... and thx!

Hi,

Any idea if Bitwig Studio (version 1.0) will support Video for scoring to picture/ i.e. have a Video Track ?

Thanks,
Muziksculp

Are the beta testers currently forbidden from posting audio demos ?
Seems kind of a glaring omission... though I'm no less grateful for all the info.

I already asked that question on bitwig facebook.
And got an answer from Dom.
It won't be in release 1.0.

Did I already tell you that bitwig studio is technically ready, but the wait is due to commercial negotiations ?
Indeed, there are two major actors in music industry that are interested, they are trying to lower the price and the BW Studio Team need time to get the best price and conditions for the future.
We need to be patient, they deserve the best, they worked hard.

Yeah, at the moment Midi I/O is one area that feels unfinished therefore I don't talk much about it.

- Yes, no Video ATM in the current Beta.

Removing the cats was the dumbest move ever.

why are you trying to make this bullshit tale become a 'real' rumour?
your last thread was deleted but you're still here talking shit, ableit with disclaimers now.

I'd just ignore the post.

As for the info from Tom and the rest of the beta testers good going guys! Really appreciate the work you're putting together here!

Confirmed!

You will definitely be able to set a ROFL icon on a track head, natively in BWStudio."

Thanks for at least using the fake mode brackets in the current story you made up, but i still don't get the intention behind this? Esp. getting personal with names and made up quotes... it is only the internet, but still, not cool. I'm also not into cat pics, but they at least try to be funny and don't harm anyone! How about switching over to the catpics thread and concentrating on those instead, please? With sugar on top? ;-)

Not really something to discuss, only wanted to mention it for you and people to think about while i go back to work, kinda busy these days :hyper:

Cheers,
Dom

P.S.: Thanks to all the beta testers for their great contribution here! Gary, Justin, Andy etc... and in the last days esp. Thomas who devoted a lot of attention and time to this thread! I can't monitor everything going on here and elsewhere at the moment, but again, thanks from the whole team!

Thanks for the clarification about Video. I was really hoping it'd be in there in V1, but I definitely understand.

Is it safe to assume it will be implemented in a V2 release (or even in prior iterations)?

Also thank you to all Beta-Testers that have been providing information. It's been beyond helpful gaining a bit of insight into the eventual release .

Obviously I have no real idea but I'm thinking that if they planned to do video anytime soon, even in v2, then they would have added that to their "features coming after release" or maybe talked about it at one point.

I can't imagine it not being included at some point (and I really hope they feel the same way). Some of those features like expression changes would do wonders for scoring to video.

And I just realize I have a new question for any willing beta testers...

Recording scenes... Does this work similar to Live? An example that I rely upon in Live is being able to write in the BPM in each scene and record that as automation on the master tempo (when recording to Arrangement View).
