I had Claes on the phone yesterday. He confessed me that he underestimated the work load when he photoshoped the screens.

So does that mean I was right in thinking that the beta screens I've seen are different from the screens posted at the BW website?

I thought the website images showed a more polished UI, but I wasn't sure and didn't want to be a shit by asking (until now)

Anyways, I hope the developers are staying healthy and haven't burned out!

Obviously I have no real idea but I'm thinking that if they planned to do video anytime soon, even in v2, then they would have added that to their "features coming after release" or maybe talked about it at one point.

I can't imagine it not being included at some point (and I really hope they feel the same way). Some of those features like expression changes would do wonders for scoring to video.

And I just realize I have a new question for any willing beta testers...

Recording scenes... Does this work similar to Live? An example that I rely upon in Live is being able to write in the BPM in each scene and record that as automation on the master tempo (when recording to Arrangement View).

I dropped a JFK speech from archive-org on the timeline and it just worked. Nice.

- Yeah, the scripting and mapping seems rather deep. So far I thought it would only be for very specific nerdy stuff, but now I learned it can also be used for all kinds of stuff like mapping Poly-AT to whatever you want and reacting to and sending sysex as well!

I guess we will see some rather wild stuff emerging from the scripting-community after the release!
I'll leave the specifics for after the release, but I think there is little that can't be done.
And it's even documented...
