Well like I said, people were going to comment. So I thought I'd try to get in ahead and say something rational rather than calling him a troll or worse which is sure to get more of a reaction, but alas...

edit, something snuck in.

Ogopogo wrote:Since the volume and pan on the drum rack work for the selected pad, is it possible to map these to a controller and so use that single controller to control volume or pan for any of your drum pads? For example with your MPD 18 could you set the slider to volume and then use it to set the volume of whichever pad you hit last? I'm not sure if Live can do something like this.
Can anyone tell me if this is the case? I think this question got lost in the mix.

Awwwwww, come on Echoes, this is a pretty good thread and there has been a lot of good information. I've tried to stay out but it pops up when I check "my threads" and I just HAVE to peek! I am trying.

Hi,

We had some great insight on this thread these days, especially from Thomas and Dom.

I'm really pleased to learn that FLAC format is supported, as I have all my audio files in that format !

The last video from Bitwig was about instrument clips.
I'm waiting to see how BWS works for things like multi-track recording ?
For instance, my question may appear simple & basic, but will I still be able to add some reverb into the singer's headphone, record him on a track, and record a keyboard player at the same time ?

Cheers,
B.

It wasn't lost, but I don't really know. My guess would be, that you can do it with the controller scripting, but I just started reading into that yesterday and didn't completely grok it yet ;-)
I'm not much of a controller user, so I guess others will be more interested in this part than me.

Cheers,

Tom

Each track can be routed to any output and sure you can put a reverb on it, so yeah, that's possible.
You can define mono and stereo inputs and of course you can activate multiple tracks for recording at once.
