Your brother should get his own KVR account...Kain wrote:It was a joke guys because that other topic exploded I thought I would try it again. The song is one my brother wrote and recorded in Alberta Canada in June.
But thanks for giving him some views, everybody likes some appreciation.
I won't do it again ... soon.

OK THEN!
Disclaimer: for entertainment purposes only. Before you apply this to your butt, consult your physician.
Who knew that you were being droll, you defended the move last go round. I think the bit I just quoted disagrees with your first statement some.
My contribution herein was to show some things that ARE somebody doing something special and you see Marco with thirty, maybe he's up to 40 views. And like he gives a shit about it. Do you know what the fallacy 'argumentum ad populum' is? The general public voted for Hitler and likes Coldplay.
The thing is, the things there with a really high number of views means Lowest Common Denominator. It's as if dull and mediocre is itself something to aspire to, and then fail to rise to.
Here's another thing, this post of mine will through that fact generate exponentially more views to your vacuous post than you would have got before.
If you like to irritate, be interesting in some way.
I did in no way appreciate it, or so much as view it on soundcloud. Would you like a review? It was just too dull to stay with for much more than four bars. It's plastic, faux music. It seemed of a piece with the last POS you posted and wanted to say at 5000 views was underappreciated. Do you guys just lack the ability to keep time so badly you have to overquantize the life out of music? Why are you even in music?Kain wrote:But thanks for giving him some views, everybody likes some appreciation.

Thx jancivil for giving my brother more views. I am sure he appreciates it. (he does not know where his views come from but I hope some more views will motivate him to post more of his music on soundcloud and maybe get some comments and interaction going)

so, you are trying to promote him and you lied to us about 'it's just a joke'. I'm pretty sure no one read me and said 'I have to go check this guy out'. I guess your routine is totally played out.Kain wrote:Thx jancivil for giving my brother more views. I am sure he appreciates it.
Sure, why not, that's the way of the world. Of course you'll aspire to the very average if not the dull side of average, you're engaged in argumentum ad populum with your mirror. You don't get the point at all, yet it still bothers you enough to drive you say that. As if that's a comeback, as if it has any moment to me.Kain wrote:(he does not know where his views come from but I hope some more views will motivate him to post more of his music on soundcloud and maybe get some comments and interaction going)
You wouldn't know special if it sat its balls on your nose.

This is just a bunch of sounds

Nice sounds by the way, but not music in my opinion.
And this is music, full with emotions. About when our mother had a heart transplant last year in may.

I am sure you disagree with me, and yes of course one can a whole lot about mixing and sound design and stuff like that. But I think good stories and emotions and simple melodies and chords come first, then there is time for progress on all the rest that makes a song a piece of art in every aspect.
And forgive me for being a little bit biased. He is my brother after all and the first 5 year he was making music I always had a hard time knowing what to say because I did not like his music at all. But now he is making such progress that it makes me damn proud!
