I find it far more readable than VA1.

And +1 on the support! These guys are great!
AAS support is second to none in my book. Very responsive and consumer focused! :D

It's pretty unusable on my 22inch touch screen- I can operate the knobs/sliders on most synths, even V1! but not this one!
I can swich diva to cinematic and fill my monitor and operate anything like hardware...Same with the lovely imposcar 2. There really is no excuse for a tiny GUI (what screen were they enveloping this for?) especially in a world slowly moving towards touch screens.
I would agree that the UI could be a bit bigger. I have a 19" that I have to run at 1280 for Studio One so that makes the UI even that more difficult to see. I don't think that AAS was thinking about that when they developed the UI... Same with the new Lounge Lizard.

If you compare the two GUIs side by side you'll see that many of the knobs and text sizes are actually a bit bigger in the new GUI.

It takes a few more clicks to get at a panel, maybe, but this fuss over size is misplaced, IMO.

But why would they go and make a single pane synth into all those tabs? Crazy.

I love the layout and all... not a deal breaker... I purchased the VA-2 upgrade and I love it... just saying that for my old eyes, a larger, or sizable UI would be nice! 8)

I don't know what people are having against tabs. IMO the new GUI is much more tidied up and clearer than the old one...

I rather work with tabs than with a GUI which is bigger than my screen...

It's a shame he won't be able to take a shot at UA 2.......or maybe he did but the new VA2 gui doesn't look like his style......

As far as I can tell it's only three tabs. Play, Edit and FX. Not such a big deal, imo.
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

I caved in and bought it. The new presets are very inspiring to me so that is worth it alone. I like the new layout better too.
