overall, i am very impressed with the look and feel of rhino beta 2d. everything has been improved while maintaining the familiar rhino work flow.
however, ive got a slight GUI sizing issue in my installation. i followed the email install instructions (i think), including rhino.db. the plug runs, but with an error on startup; something like "cannot find config file". the new config page(!) is blank. the bottom row of widgets (master volume, filter 2, et.al.) is missing and a portion of the right edge is clipped as well. same effect in both FL and sonar. any thoughts?
on a side note, is a serial filter option still in the cards ?

Gee, did I forget to email you ? We're at beta 2.f
Check your PM.
The "clipped display" problem is still there, though. It only happens when you use Rhino through the DXI adapter, so if you use FLstudio VST wrapper, it should work fine. I'm working on it.
Serial filter... yeah... almost forgot about it

Bloody hell, this clipping bug got the most of my day. The problem was that Cakewalk vst/dx adapter somehow remembers the size of the editor window - since it's slightly larger in the new skin, it appears clipped.
Here's how to solve it: launch the vst adapter, hit "next", unselect all the tick boxes (you don't want to rescan your whole vstplugins folder). The in the list select Rhino, hit "properties", and check that the editor size reads 800x600.
That should fix it.

Big Tick; the current version of the VST-DX adaptor should be storing the GUI size in a pair of registry keys at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk VST Adaptor\Inventory\[path]
where [path] is the full path to the VST .dll file
The keys you'd need to change are
cxEditor and cyEditor, which are both REG_DWORDS
... if that helps any...

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."
