Multi-morphing synths like MassTurboTar?

I really like how in MassTurboTar each preset contains 5 subpresets you can morph between using the wheel or velocity. I'm finding you can make some crazy pitchbends and other expressive devices that aren't possible otherwise.
I know there's Morphox which is a morphing synth, but that only morphs between two states. MassTurboTar really has a winning formula in terms of setting up morphs quickly and prividing expression. The sound is far from perfect, though.
I know some Ohmboys plugins have keyswitch morphing or something like that, but do they have anything like a basic VA synth? Any other suggestions?

BTW, the clever part of the design with this synth is that there are no switches in patch design. Highpass and lowpass share halves of the knob rather than having a switch, sync, FM and PW are all part of the "morphing oscillator" knob, etc. So every value can be interpolated without jumps.
Might be a project to try to build in Reaktor, if I ever manage to get started with it.

With Alchemy each patch has 8 variations that you morph between.Sendy wrote:I really like how in MassTurboTar each preset contains 5 subpresets you can morph between using the wheel or velocity. Green Oak Crystal also features preset morphing.
And then there is synplant, let you breed your own paches

Thanks for all kind words about massturbotar
My buddy made (I kind of started this project) mofr wrapper for any vst plugin.
Check it out here!

of course no smooth transition between switches but with some smart programming everything can be done.
I got an idea to port massturbotar to Reactor but it would be a big project and I finally sold Reaktor.
I'm to busy to start something like that on my own.
Cheers.

Well there is a few "morphing" Reaktor ensembles in NI user library.Davias wrote:For morphing synth I can add SkannerXT from NI (Reaktor Synth).
They can be connected to any other ensemble.
Work pretty well wits smaller synths but big ones like Razor are too cpu hungry for fast changes :/

Discovery or Discovery Pro have a morphing feature. They can switch between two (or three for Discovery Pro) parameter settings using several MIDI sources.

The king of preset morphing is NI Kore 2, it can create smooth realtime morphs between 8 sub patches for almost any plugin or combination of plugins, hardware controllable using the Kore controller or cc. Discontinued but there still seem to be plenty of people buying and selling it.

There are max4live devices to facilitate this too

Yeah I've tried them all but results seem variable to say the least (especially for realtime performance - results can be stuttery). I was hoping to find a way to do what I can do in Kore thinking ahead to when it might not work but so far nothing I have tried comes close, not even Liine Kapturepad (which is probably the best though)VariKusBrainZ wrote:There are max4live devices to facilitate this too

Yes but only between two of them.aMUSEd wrote:All Realtor ensembles can morph between snapshotsLpD wrote:Well there is a few "morphing" Reaktor ensembles in NI user library.Davias wrote:For morphing synth I can add SkannerXT from NI (Reaktor Synth).

There is a few more complex ones to morph between series of snapshots.

I have Skanner and as far as I can see it's still just morphing between two snapshots at a time - you have 8 of them arranged in a circle but can't freely move the dot with the mouse (as you can in Kore 2 and Alchemy) to create more complex interactions between variations.LpD wrote:Yes but only between two of them.aMUSEd wrote:All Realtor ensembles can morph between snapshotsLpD wrote:Well there is a few "morphing" Reaktor ensembles in NI user library.Davias wrote:For morphing synth I can add SkannerXT from NI (Reaktor Synth).

Consequently I tend to use Kore to morph snapshots in Reaktor ensembles (including Razor and Skanner). The advantage of that is I can then also automate it and save that in a project - unfortunately the way NI set up Skanner it's not possible to automate or save morph states.
