Have you tried firefox, chrome, IE Explore, Opera? For the free Dune LE off of beat mag's facebook page I had to use chrome, not sure why. Might need to make your likes public, too. Plug n' mix required that I think.

Figured it out.. I had to disable DoNotTrack, enable popups, and accept 3rd party cookies.. essentially I had to make my browser a haven for spam and spying temporarily.. to get the download link to appear.
Hoping this plugin is worth it..
update: so far stable in Cubase7.. this compressor pumps on percussion nicely but seems to cut quite a bit of bass in doing so.. probably good to use in parallel with the normal drum bus to add a bit of that pumping feel without squishing the bassyness of it. Could be a very useful plugin.. funny that this is based on one of the more despised compressors out there but it sounds like it could be very useful for EDM styles!

I have checked and it should download without issues using Safari, Chrome or Firefox.
It works here with cookies from 3rd parties disabled. I think the pop-up blocker is the culprit so iframe has a target="_parent" now that should fix the link not working in some browsers.
Direct download link does not work anymore. It was a security bug

Didn't work for me here until I enabled 3rd party cookies.. the popup would popup but then instantly disappear.. and nope it wasn't the popup blocker as that was disabled (I'd not have even seen a popup for a second had it been enabled). popup link only functioned after 3rd party cookies enabled (amongst the other stuff)George wrote:I have checked and it should download without issues using Safari, Chrome or Firefox.

In any case.. like I said I got it.. now I will guard the installer well!

The hardware comp that this was based off of was used extensively by daft punk, no?VitaminD wrote:Figured it out.. Sorry about the browsers, I was sort of joking except that I really did download chrome just to get dune le. Don't know what the issue was. Different browsers do handle things different it seems.

Yes, I think Daft Punk used a modified 3630 for their early music.

It's a fairly popular budget compressor, like Behringer Composers, for instance. It's not great, but it's not bad, either. It's just rather cheap so people use it a lot. You will probably find one or two in every live setup.
I have a Behringer Composer MDX-2100 in my rack and they're similar in character. These cheap compressors are based on DBX 160 or Drawmer DL221 and DL241 compressors. It's a very similar design of a cheap workhorse compressor, used and abused a lot everywhere.
Nightshine only lacks a few things auto attack and release, ext. sidechain, and very simple expander/gate.

Sorry about the issues. I have added content-disposition headers to the download script now, it should work fine.
Please report back, thanks.
