Hi guys,

A few words to inform you that :

• a demo version of Sparkverb is planned, certainly within the next few weeks, but we still don't know when. We will send newsletters email to our customers when it's ready.
• Sparkverb is running fine into Pro Tools 10.3.6 or later (AAX-32b) and Pro Tools 11.0.1 or later (AAX-64b)
• iLok dongle isn't required !!!! You can authorize your system disk instead
• Sparkverb is part of MachFive 3 effects but as told by some of you, no audio inputs into M5v3 --> every MachFive 3 users can reach out our sales department, we will arrange something for you

• also included as hidden part into UVI Workstation with some UVI instruments, but no way to edit it, you have to crossgrade to MachFive 3
• you can directly insert the Sparkverb into a 5.1 Aux track with no problem (without managing with several mono versions)
• reviews are in progress...

You probably contacted Magix in the US. I don't know anything about the quality of the US subsidiary, but I can assure you that Magix Germany is totally different. You usually get a response within a day or two (at the latest), and there are a few offical support phone numbers you can simply call to clarify issues.

Magix (in Germany, anyway) has about the best support I've ever encountered with software companies. I've sent lots of mails to other companies and didn't receive a response until days later, or even never at all.

A few weeks ago, Magix even sent a mail informing me that a certain bug I had reported months earlier would be fixed with the next patch. That's what I call customer service.

I think it would've been wiser to contact the Magix headquarters in Berlin instead of the US subsidiary.

Just downloaded the demo and iLok procedure was OK, but cannot validate in Logic 9 or WaveBurner.

ERROR: Component Version mismatch: Res Vers = 0x10000, Comp Vers = 0x10001

It should be ok if you download it back.

Just in case, be sure to remove the plugin (.component) beforehand.

Please let us know if you still encounters some issues.

thank you for the Demo !

however i have a small question ! if my demo time are over and if i decide to buy it , can the full version also activated the same as the Demo version or does the full version license requires an iLok 2 Dongle ?

I downloaded the demo but have not installed yet. So even the Demo installs some iLok files ?

Just like the demo, the full auth can be on your computer, iLok1 or iLok2.
You can even move from one to the others
