Nice theme scuzzphut.

Now, I was attempting to review all the tracks of may contest, and I know that a while back I still promised that the feedback-bundle 5/5 would follow shortly - but I am sorry, I couldn't make it. I've just been too busy to be able to get it done. Sorry Secondskin, Sciche, Spaceman, Mo Verdigast, Bonteburg, pHz, Jumpingflash, Jax and Vurt for not commenting on your tracks...

I've just come back from a weekend away to find out I came 11th!! With so many amazing entries I find that hard to believe!

Cheers people for the votes... well done to the winners.

Hmm... a Sci-Fi movie theme... How's that going to work with guitars!?...

A good theme. But very hard!

The 'codes' are the points each voter gave for a particular song (X for 10 points, all other points as a number). We just voted but most of the songs should still be there in the submissions thread for may.

It is , indeed an E-Bow. The guitar itself is almost irrelevant. As it happens it's a very old Marlin Sidewinder - a cheap Strat clone which was very quiet adn had poor tone, so I rewired it to give it more power...ARFARFARF

The guitar is through the JCM900 plugin with pretty light settings. Kjaerhaus classic reverb on the send channel completes the fx.
Pretty much all of the sound is down to the E-Bow and I have no idea how you could recreate that with synths

Blue - the codes are vote rankings. Each person who voted liste their top 10 songs. 1st place gets 10 points, second place gets 9 points etc.
The first number after the person's name is the total number of points that person has recieved. The numbers in brackets are the individual votes (with X used for 10 points).
