Next update will have mod wheels support, noise gen and improved osc mixer. And there i can start developing gui to let parameters be easy findable :)
Actually i hate this routine about gui and programs/midi , but there is no other way

Nice. :)

As for me , i dont see any use of high lfo rates in musical context, apart from scary fm sounds and helicopter sounds from filter modulation :D

Sometimes I want to modulate an LFO's speed until it starts affecting the sound in an audible way. In most cases that means scary FM noises and helicopter sounds.

Ditto, mridlen.

And I still sometimes [read often :)] do stuff like making a weird sound in the [analog] synth that is not playable except for one note every now and then, sample that clearest note into the sampler, and then play it across an octave or two with the sampler, making it a playable, and of course weird sound... old tweaking habits die hard. :D

There, an idea to try perhaps? :D It works best with terribly sounding samplers.

If you can read between the lines this is a great compliment to Obxd. ;)

Eagerly awaiting new tweaking options.

Introducing some cool features in this update : multimode filter ( lp-notch-hp blend) , noise oscillator, mixer for 2 oscillators, oscillator brightness control ( damps very high frequencies and lead to more natural sound), increaced max lfo rate to 50hz,increaced ranges of filter and envelope detune, rearranged params.

A tip: high sample rates like 96k khz let synth "breath" and lead to more "analog" sound, but in the mix there is no big difference.

:)

If you think that scale on one or more params isnt balanced, tell me please :)

Have you considered adding some oversampling/quality options like DIVA? I'm thinking a realtime oversampling option, and a separate render option. A good oversampling solution should get users a better sound even at lower sample rates. The trade-off is CPU.

Anyway, this is just meant as a friendly suggestion. Take it or leave it. I can't imagine how much work you've already put into this, and you certainly don't have to add every feature under the sun.

This looks more and more promising each release. Looks like you are basically done in what concerns the basic features of the synth. Look forward for a version with GUI that allow us to save patches. I'd like to start creating some programs for this.

Hello
Thank you for this plugin.
Is a GUI planned at some point ?

Post

Sink, you think we haven't been through that discussion already, after 18 pages? ;) Just start reading at the end of 11th page where Kriminal joins in and offer to make the GUI for it. It looks quite promising! There, I helped you with the search. Don't be lazy... :D

On the other hand I'm too busy playing with the latest version to respond to the thread... but I just took a little break. :hihi:

AH ah, Dux :)
I had a look at some previous pages, but didn't find a screenshot : thank you for pointing me at p11 ;)

But you wont get the same result as setting your soundcard to a higher ssmpling rate

Some cheaper soundcards don't have that option.
