I like the way you can change the side chain to free mode so it is triggered by another frequency range.

For the price difference (Pro-MB will be a $150+ plugin) I'll take ToneBoosters TB-Flex.

If you don't have an account on the Fabfilter site you can get 10% off for a single plugin or bundle.
Every Fabfilter user that has an account can send you a email link with 10% off purchase.
If you own any of the other FF plugins you have a calculator in the user area to see how much discount you can get for every other product.
If someone needs a 10% off link when purchasing at Fabfilter just PM me with your email, and I will send it to you. No problems.

Holy fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
I have definitely never been this excited by an impending compressor!
As usual, Dan's vid made my jaw drop, a few times, and by the end I was in disbelief.
And for the first time in my life, I feel that I might be able to use a mb comp for something other than mangling my mix!
Of course, that is mostly due to my faith in FF's fantastical presets!

I don't use multiband compression and still own the UAD Precision Multiband which was some of the best MBs... But this Fabfilter MB Pro looks great and has some options I have never seen before
Maybe it's the new king for multiband compression!

It is out now.

Edit:
De-essor Sounds far better than Pro DS, and for problematic vocals too.
Great tool, instant buy.

Dan Worrall's presentations are great, but he has annoying habit to 'eat' the last word in his sentences. If it's not correctly leveled recording it can be difficult to hear it (not the case this time though).kelvyn wrote:Dan Worrel does it again... Succint and informative.

Joining in on the fact that Dan has done another marvelous job of presenting the Fabfilter Pro-MB, I really want it now. But I wonder if that means he recommends it and endorses it - Dan is a dynamic EQ developer himself and has some criteria he has been seeking, like the rest of us.
For me Pro-MB hints at some dynamic EQ features but can't say yet if it will replace Toneboosters FlX4 for me, given the price. I have Fabfilter comp so I already get a 13% discount (makes it 200 Yankee dolla), will have to test when I get a minute.

Thanks Dan! The plot thickens - milk or multiband...
Side-note: I still use 5orcery from time to time and I think both your development and audio engineering experiences contribute to the depth of your posts and consults on forums and youtube vids...keep it up!
