Why there aren't any noise waveforms in Curve 2 (CM)?

Curve Curve 2 CM

Post

I'm using Curve 2 CM, and while it's great to draw my own waveforms, I miss some pre-defined noise waveforms (white, brown, pink noise etc.)

What I'm trying to make is a snare preset with Curve 2 CM, and basically I need triangle and noise waves to achieve it.

Now there are triangle waves but unfortunately no noise waveforms in Curve 2 CM. What can I do? And is it planned to add noise waveforms in an update?

You could draw a noise waveform, need a lot of points then though. :P But yeah, would be handy to have.

That's the problem. I don't need any predefined triangle waves, I can draw them in less than a second (okay, I'll admit, 1.37 seconds :hihi:)...

But noise waveforms would be great to have...

Just took a look at the GUI of the full version, and it doesn't seem to have a noise waveform to select from the pre-made waveforms too. Weird...

I've noticed that, too. Count me in for that feature request. Trying to emulate noise in an LFO simple does not compare to real, random noise as a source.

There is not enough points to draw a noise-like waveform...

I wanted to create a crispy snare with Curve 2 CM but all I can make there (without real noise waveforms) is a snare that sounds like a tom... :tantrum:

There is a noise osc in full version. You need to choose it from the drop down menu in waveform selector.
