I can kids see that minimoog shape, but the all the comments say it's a big sound from a tiny box?eXode wrote:First of all, the blurred image show a larger keyboard than the Minibrute's two octaves, and then there's the BIg connection. Two osc synth feels most plausible atm, imho.
A 2 osc synth shaped like a little phatty with some red knobs?

The reference that it has an original is quite intriguing. So most likely something from a no more existing company. ARP? Synthex? Oberheim? Rhodes Chroma?

Oberheim is still making synths. http://www.tomoberheim.comAlbert.VST wrote:The reference that it has an original is quite intriguing. So most likely something from a no more existing company. ARP? Synthex? Oberheim? Rhodes Chroma?
"Original" could also refer to the Minibrute ...

i just want to put my pennies worth in as i have been a tester for arturia for a good few years now and they test as much as they can until the testers think we have have found most of the bugs on our systems before arturia release there products.
i have no idea whats coming with there new synth as i have not been in the testing for this product ,but i think it a mini synth with 2 octave keyboard and possible drum tie in .
we shall all find out next week.

I think it's microbrute. Yesterday when i check jrrshop i saw it, it was smaller than minibrute and was only 299$. They have already remove it in 15 minute after i first saw the picture.
If the price point is true, then arturia is going to sell a lot of it, it's the cheapest analog synth with keyboard around.

Look at the blurred image, it has a larger keyboard and deeper body than the Minibrute, that says bigger, mot smaller, or rack/desktop to me.xamido wrote:I think it's microbrute. But it's already mentioned on the site that there is no preset saving. Post more believable facts, I want to believe!Kriminal wrote:Its a maxibrute. 49 keys dual vco. Preset saving.
Facts.
(actually I'm really not interested at all in this synth, just waiting to see if it brings any significant variation to the market)

Here's what they wrote :eXode wrote: Look at the blurred image, it has a larger keyboard and deeper body than the Minibrute, that says bigger, mot smaller, or rack/desktop to me.
Looks tiny, Sounds massive
The microbrute on jrrshop which i see previously is pretty real. The envelope section is like the one on bass station 2, with sliders. Too bad i didn't save the picture when i see it.

It may be saved in your browser's cache. But well, retrieving it is probably not simple.xamido wrote:Too bad i didn't save the picture when i see it.

You are talkin about some other site/shop. I'm talking about Arturias own website, which is more creadible? :|xamido wrote:Here's what they wrote :eXode wrote: Look at the blurred image, it has a larger keyboard and deeper body than the Minibrute, that says bigger, mot smaller, or rack/desktop to me.

Based on......Crumar bIT one ? (6 voice 2 osc analog poly)
Although that had presets......
I am starting to think its small (looking at its size relative to the speaker) and may be a 303 type device with a ribbon control (the white bit)

It does look like a small (2 octave) keyboard with mini keys, not a larger keyboard.
