For some reason Izotope is the only Native company that keeps me opening my wallet and spending cash even when i do not want to, and for me that's the hallmark of extremely talented developers. I've been messing around with Nectar 2 Production suite version demo and i must say i am thoroughly impressed. The Plate 140 reverb is VERY nice and has a good sense of space to it (the decay could sound a little better tho, but i still am very impressed). The Creative-FX section sound lovely and have a 'Izotope clarity' to them. The harmonizer as well. This is a VERY VERY nice package and i am highly impressed even without trying all that it has to offer yet (Wich is a hell-of-alot). I'm sold. Izotopes algorithms are seriously improving sonicly and more effects and processors are being added to their flexible plugins as time passes. IMO they sell the ultimate effects and processors plugins.
I don't know exactly when but i will be buying Nectar 2 Production suite soon, it's another Izotope 'must-have', and i'll be crying and smiling as i spend what is a large amount of money to me.

T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

To the production version of Nectar, it's at $179 (US). You can get it from Time+space for approx. $155.
To the standard edition, it's around $129. I don't see that upgrade option yet on any retail sites yet.

izotope confirmed this morning that this will not work in logic (9 OR X); shame...they have the tech (witness stutter-edit). will go with harmony engine evo instead.

Honestly, do people actually read posts anymore? I *know* the upgrade prices because I posted them. In fact, they're actually already in the nested quote that you quoted (look about 2 inches up from here).

This was my experience as well while using it to clean up a few vocal tracks. It's nice that you have a quick toolkit put together where you can pretty easily dial in a good sound. I'd need to outgrow Elements to buy the full package unless they make me an upgrade offer I can't refuse (as in 50% or more off). By the way, I got Elements on sale while it was $29 and I didn't really know what exactly I needed it for. My first tests with it have not been very positive compared to using Cubase's built in pitch correction, it seems to miss a numnber of notes completely however I have not tested it a lot to be fair.claudedefaren wrote:Can anyone speak to how the Pitch Correction module compares to AutoTune 7?
