Play the biorhythm data slowly and you have an evolving ambient piece. Play it super-fast and you have modern dubstep wobbles. Biorhythms are an untapped musical resource.

Go out and see some live music in just about any form, or try and find bands to work with, even if you are not playing any instrument. Offer to record them if they don't do that already, whether it be practice/rehearsals or live.

I am lucky to have a couple different bands I work with and give my song idea/composition input and offer sound design/instrument choice concepts.

Before, during, and after those practices/jam sessions I attend, my mind is flowing with inspiration and potential ideas, whether I can use them with that project or use them as a springboard for my own stuff, or to force myself to try new things to get a desired sound, or a way to take a studio technique and turn it into an easy to pull-off practical live performance method/tool.

Even more tricky is to have to use vst/vsti that are stable and optimized for my keyboardist's economical older "internet" laptop that he has decided to use for a live plugin host for live playing. Headaches abound some of the time, but it is very rewarding when you get it to work and is stable. Wish he had an extra $1,000 for a MacBook or something nice and current/powerful, but it is what it is. You can still do a lot of stuff with a low latency interface and two midi controllers with knobs assigned.
