am personally torturing their tech support now (to no avail). sad, really...TheoM wrote:Well that's silly to not allow midi harmonising in logic and once again just a stubborn izotope oversight. All they need to do is create an au midi version with sidechain. I hope logic users unite and pressure them, cause they should make it abundantly clear on the info pages.

what did it do? there's a unison mode in the harmonizer, works great...claudedefaren wrote:Wait, they got rid of the doubler module? That's incredibly disappointing.

FYI, you can get the upgrade from audiodeluxe and save a few bucks. I imagine other shops like jrrshop and plugin discounts have it as well.

What's the verdict on the EMT 140 model? Anyone care to post some examples?

I don't have examples to post, but after trying out the new plate reverb in Nectar 2, my opinion is that it's in the same league as the best emulations available, including UAD, Phoenix, etc. Sounds like a plate to me!Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:What's the verdict on the EMT 140 model? For anyone looking for a fairly priced all-in-one vocal processing solution, you can't go wrong. iZotope has a winner here.
Cheers,
Eddie

it's really nice, i used it for a day (& tried EVERYTHING lol, to figure out the midi control thing).TheoM wrote:Just wantd to say something, with izotope go buy the product as is and don't expect changes. I am only saying this in case some logic users jump on the sale price thinking they will eventually just fix it.(or add the details to their page that the harmoniser will not midi in logic, very very cheeky of them, they list logic as a compatible host).fisherKing wrote:am personally torturing their tech support now (to no avail). sad, really...TheoM wrote:Well that's silly to not allow midi harmonising in logic and once again just a stubborn izotope oversight. They won't change it and that's the way they are. I have begged them on hands and knees for stuff in the past that made total sense and no matter what, it was a no, and the amount of time they sent telling me no could have been used to fix the feature LOL.
Just sayin... I love their products a much as the next guy.. I use trash2 and rx2 daily, and I will test the harmoniser in cubase 7 and see what sort of results I can get, but if I was a logic user only still I'd not buy it on principle. The is nothing wrong with logic, that's a massive design flaw of their plugin that is arbitrary to fix. In fact I've seen people fix and add this feature literally overnight in other plugins. But when they say no, they mean no, sadly.
I am very happy it was mentioned here, as I would have gone ballistic had I jumped on it not thinking of demoing (which lets face it don't we sometimes all do occasionally when we trust a product?)
so, not for me (will go with antarestech's harmony engine evo).
but it's a good plugin, and worthwhile (for non-logic peeps)
