Just trying to get an idea of what's out there of any value, mixing-wise, on the tutorial market.

Anyone point to any worth their weight in (digital) gold?

Thanks a lot,

My favourite tutor is Kenny Gioia who has made tutorials in mixing with Reaper and Pro Tools. Although I don't use any of them, but his tutorials can be translated to other hosts/plugins.
This is his one about Reaper which cost $35 to download (or $15 if subscribe but can't download in this case):

macprovideo.com and puremix.net

You have to subscribe for both of them, but it's well worth the money.

For some very detailed and easy to follow videos, these are the best.
They go the steps further by going into production techniques as well as mixing techniques.
Also, they are currently on sale (use code "SAVENOW" for 30% off).

MIXING MASTERCLASS
MIXING FOR BEGINNERS
ADVANCED MIXING
MIXING SYNTHS

They have many more video, all about mixing and mastering.
Different levels from beginning to advanced.
Very informative and easy to follow.

Groov3 is probably my favorite, and they cover so many topics the chances of finding what you are looking for is high. There cheap and DEFFINITLY worth it

The other two I use work well two but are slightly more limited. Those being macprovideo and pro-tools-expert. Protools expert obviously revolves more around pro tools but the techbiques they tech hold weight in most daws...

Of course if your looking for free there's tutorials and lessons everywhere, of course I could self promote and say go to http://www.thekidcitizen.com/blog/ and check out some of my lessons but...oh I just did...oops ;) lol hopefully everything works out for you, don't stop learnin!

These are the best i have seen by far.

They have a very pro quality as related to recording and especially production.
You can tell these guys have spent the time in the trenches.
They get deep into the producers view and techniques which is helpful.
Accelerated learning for musicians, mixing engineers and would be producers..

I learned a lot from these 2:

https://www.udemy.com/mastering-electro-house/

And this one was great too, alsthough it looks really dated:

From their site:
The course should take 1 day to complete and will give you a comprehensive understanding of the mastering process.
Dont get me wrong, I am not critizising that. Just wanted to point out that quote. :D

But the oldschool one is pretty dope. Funky clothes and haircut, oldschool x-mix bluebox background and lots of really good and helpful informations. I have seen this one posted by you in another thread already but I agree: nice video.

Actually this can be related to any video tutorial or course, which claims to teach you to be a pro. It takes some time, practice and investment in hardware (at least decent monitors) to become a pro in audio production.

But anyway, there're a lot of very good tutorials on the subject. I suggest trying Groove3. If you are in dance music then Dance Music Production has plenty of in-depth tutorials.
Wonder whether my advice worth a penny? Check my music at Soundcloud and decide for yourself.

...
True! But always funny to read that. :D

Anyways, that was not meant disrespectful. Actually I appreciate all the available ressources whether they are free or not.

No offence taken. But I learned a thing or 2 with those tutorials.

+1 for the Art of Mixing. I had the book and learnt a lot from it. It is very useful especially if you are the kind of Visualising sounds.

Another great tutorials IMO are by Olav Basoski in Macprovideo.com for EDM.

Together with Kenny Gioia's tutorials in Rock/Pop music, they are more than enough for bedroom production / hobby work :-)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
