Why do some iApps don't send output through bluetooth?

Today I bought a Dre's Beatbox HD S11 (don't laugh...) for my kitchen and to take with me on the go. The sound is great for such a tiny box but that's not really the issue.

It pairs without problems to my iPhone4 but most of my music apps don't play through it. The ones that work are: Tachyon, Sunrizer XS, Cassini, AE and triqtraq but the following just output the sound to the iPhone's speakers:

iMaschine, Drum Machine1, Impaktor, Figure, Voice Synth.

I have more music apps but I haven't tested them yet. I wonder if it has to do with the programming or so but then I think why would Propellerhead (Figure) and iMaschine which are big companies write an app that doesn't utilize bluetooth?

Anyone got some ideas or experience and preferably solutions?

The latency is just way too high for anything other than listening to music. This makes it useless for playing live through DAW's and synths.

Agreed the latency is usually too high to work with yet there are some apps that do utilize bluetooth and work 'enough' so I find it strange some companies don't just add the option and leave the choice with the consumer.
