What songs for you are perfect in every way? For me I can think of several but to start off I will pick three that amazingly are from the same album (which is also why I think this is one of the best albums every made).

these songs all take my breath away; every note, every syllable is just spot on. Sublime lyrics - especially the last track that has an almost Joycean quality with its use of neologisms and the way the play of words has its own musical quality. Music stripped down to its purest emotional essence, no over production, no excess instruments or over-elaborate singing. The singing is amazing; the depth of her voice, its range and power, but also the extent of her control and maturity (hard to believe she was just 22 when she made this). This is daring and ground breaking music, it took several years for someone else to create something as pure and powerful - for me the only albums that compare on that raw emotional level are Joni Mitchell's Blue, which I suspect was partly inspired by this album - especially the stripped down raw emotional quality and the twisty-turny piano playing in New York Tendaberry - and Robert Wyatt's Rock Bottom - both of which also contain what I consider to be "perfect" songs/tracks - more on that later.

Such a simple truth, simply put, simply beautiful. I still don't have the courage to write a song as simple as that, I have to complex everything up. Maybe one day.

Actually, i think the whole Visual Audio Sensory Theater album is pretty perfect from begining to end, even with the strong religious content that i dont care for. Hated every other album i heard by them.

Thought of putting that, but its been in like 8 dozen movies. Had a hard time picking one song. Some great samples used on the album.
