I used to write 5 hands/3 feets drum part... But in this one : 2 hands and 2 feet...

Snare and kick centered...
cymbal and ride on the right....
hithat on the left....
What's so strange ? Is it too much panned ?
Wopelka wrote:if you want it i'll point out some precise cases asap.
Yes please can you tell me where it sounds bad/strange...

after a couple of listens, i have to mitigate my first comments.

your drummer could be a regular guy with two hands and two feet, i have to admit the truth. :D

in terms of sound, the main problem for me is the hithats. they sound brighter and too left panned and don't mix well with the snare.

but don't take my humble opinion too seriously, it's just my ears and i might be completely à côté de la plaque...

Thanks for checking...
Maybe the drumkit is not very good.... 2,95 euros...
I agree with the panning which is too extrem.

Nice track... :)

Regarding the drums... the hi-hats sound like they're panned right on my system, not to the right as someone else mentioned. Oh well...
:?

Bluedad, what do you call 'splash' ??? Brushed ?
the cymbal crash

and the high-hats are on the left, on my system.
is that right?

just had a thought this evening..and wondered:
your tunes have a sort of characteristic to the overall sound, that I like very much...much in the same way putte has a sound..I know you both use vintage warmer...was that used on this tune??

OK... I think it is much too loud...
I'm totally unable to say what is a good crash and what is a bad one...
I begin to have an opinion about the snare... But that's all...

Thanks for the comparaison... :D
Yes i ALWAYS use vintage warmer on the final track... followed by TLS_Maximizer (with a little 10% "body" setting).

<EDITED>If you like the voice sound, try voxformer... "Softer than silk" preset and removed the last "high cut" EQ filter.</EDITED>

Nice text!
You should develop the violin part. I expected that it should burst out in a nice counterpart. To few notes now.
