:-o This look great. It seems you added also a feature to buy a soundbank directly within the browser. This is a great idea ;)
Attributes to search and a comment field...

Will you move to a new preset format to store additional data?

As long as there is a way to turn off that market pane, so there isn't all that wasted space that could be used for preset names. And also a way to turn off any attempted internet access from the preset browser so network issues don't stall the plugin.

Frankly, I wish VST developers would stop trying to differentiate their product in the preset browser. What's most important there, from my perspective, is that it works as similarly to all my other VST's as possible, Learning filter and oscillator nuances is where I want to spend my time. Not having to try to remember hwo t find things in some odd preset system a synth uses. Frankly, I would rather live with whats there currently over a 'cloud' implementation. It's just like a number of other synths I have. If you are going to change it, a directory ssytem like U-He uses is better than an arbitrary bank system.

yay :D

The best preset system IMO is from NI. The downside: it uses a database, so adding of new banks needs always a rescan/rebuild of the database.

I would say Spire is a bit inspired by NI. But some additional "views" like "show all", "show preset" , "show marketplace" could be interesting to have a more streamlined and small preset browser and don't show too much stuff.

Nice design. I hope this new browser will not require internet connection to work with the patches that are saved on my hard drive.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

+1 please and as also requested, it would be good to be able to hide the store when necessary. But it looks great and I can't wait for further optimisation too! :)

I know people have different preferences, and at least one person has noted that they like the option to buy from the browser.

Once I figured out what the market pane was, my immediate thought was "I wonder what the upgrade to the ad free version will cost?" Maybe I'm spending to much time in the Android marketplace...

No. The Best preset browser is Omnisphere. It's much like NI's but you can type in a keyword and it will pull up all presets in that category/with that tag.

Wow :o

Is that the same guy as Tetarise who has released albums on Aventuel netlabel?: http://eng.aventuel.net/?music

Those Tetarise albums are just some of the best psychill/IDM albums I have heard during the recent years. Amazing that they are free, they are top of the crop :tu:

Fook me that's how you do a soundset!

Not only inspires, but drives you. No brainer.

...if this soundset doesn't get you buying spire then spire is probably not for you lol.

...and I have only got halfway through testing the seq's. Really shows what can be achieved without the CPU issues!

Love it.
