Let's talk iPad/tablet stands!

Just curious to know what you guys are liking for stands or mounts for your iPad or tablet. I just got a Cooler Master Cube that I really like. It's solid, heavy, and stable. I could probably take out a burglar with it, if necessary. It's got a nice range of viewing angles and it folds up, too. Best of all, it doesn't require me to remove my iPad4 from its Speck case.

I've also got a couple of Griffin Xpo's that are pretty nice and very compact/portable. They also work with the iPad in its case, but it limits the viewing angle, which is a function of how wide/narrow its limbs are spread (X-Y/scissor-type). Unfortunately, it looks like these were discontinued recently, but they're still available around the web (I bought three brand new from a reseller in Texas for $12 each). I use the one of these with my iPad1, which doesn't have a case, keep another in my briefcase, and one for the wife.



Anyway, I thought it might be good to have a thread discussing stands/mounts, since they seem to be sorta overlooked. Also, if anybody has any recommendations for an iPad1 mount that attaches to a mic/music stand, I'd love to hear about it, since that's on my to-buy list.

Just get a Surface with a built-in stand!

My buddy uses a Crane stand for his iPad. It's ridiculous overkill but it does look cool and is super stable.

My stand is not adjustable nor (very) portable but it does have MIDI in/out, audio in/out, and a headphone jack (Griffin StudioConnect).

That looks pretty nice for a mic-mount and it will work with my first-gen iPad. I like that it works as a desktop stand as well. That might be just what I'm looking for.

I just spent 5 minutes googling "Plato iPad stand" before noticing the book. I guess I should look at the images more closely next time.
