Cool. Cost me $38 australian delivered to my door.cryophonik wrote:That looks pretty nice for a mic-mount and it will work with my first-gen iPad. I like that it works as a desktop stand as well. That might be just what I'm looking for.werp wrote:Google 'hercules ipad stand'
Capable of fitting to a microphone stand or use by itself. Can use it in either landscape or portrait mode
First saw it on Sonicstate and immediately ordered one.
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Here's my DIY solution:

Recycled wood, steel & aluminium - mounts on a camera tripod, held by a wing nut. The vertical strip of aluminium slides through the wood to secure the iPad and is fastened by the white grip nut.

I use it more for art, photography & video than music, but I also have a small tripod for desktop convenience

A little off topic but here's my latest project a motorized panorama head. I only have a holder for my iPod so far, I hope to build something to hold the iPad too. It takes about 1 min 20 seconds for a full rotation, which helps in low light conditions - I use the 360 Panorama app.

I seem to send more time making stuff for devices than actually using them

This is the one I wish to buy:

They also have one for older iPads.
It combines a stand with a audio/midi interface.

I bought two of these and wrote about them earlier this year: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=387824. A nice thing about them is, the horizontal part of the stand can slide under something, so it takes up very little surface space on your desk or table.bftucker wrote:On my Amazon wish list: LUXA2 H4 Aluminum iPad Holder Stand
